Register once with your passport and a selfie. From then on, log in to any of the services below with your passport number and your face. No password, no code generator, nothing to carry but yourself.

Each service has its own site and decides what it needs to know about you. The login is the same everywhere: your passport number and your face.

Nordvik Migra

How it works

Your passport is your key, your face is the proof you are here

The three steps are the same whichever service you start from. The first time takes a few minutes; every later login takes seconds.

Every visit

Type your passport number

On Mobai's login page. Your User ID is rebuilt from the passport number and looked up. It is never stored as a number you could lose.

First time only

Register in the Mobai app

Scan the QR code on the login page with the Mobai app, or tap "Open the Mobai app" on your phone. The app reads the passport chip and takes a selfie. Your face template is encrypted before it is stored.

Every visit

Show your face

In the Mobai app (scan the QR code) or with this browser's camera. Your face is matched against your encrypted template without decrypting it. The service learns yes or no, and your User ID.

What is kept, once, for all services

  • Your User ID, derived from the passport number
  • Your face template, encrypted and never decrypted
  • In this demo a service receives your User ID and nothing else

What is never kept

  • Your passport images or the selfie
  • A readable face template, anywhere
  • A password or a second registration for another service
Before your first login

Get the Mobai app

You register once with the Mobai app on your phone. It reads your passport chip and takes the selfie; after that it can also approve your logins.

Android

Join the test on Google Play, then install the Mobai app from the same page.

Testing is invite-only: your Google account must be on Mobai's tester list. Ask Mobai to add it.
